We gather as a local church, claiming the promise of the Lord Jesus (Matthew 18:20) to be in our midst. Where used, all references in brackets are to books and verses in the Bible.
The Lord’s Supper (Sunday 11:00 am to 12:00 pm)
The most significant meeting of the church is the one the Lord introduced before his death; He told His disciples to remember Him by partaking of bread and wine as symbols of His body and blood. Following the teaching of the Lord and the example of the Apostles, we meet weekly to remember the Lord Jesus and His death for us. The meeting is for the worship of Christ, His person and His work at the cross. Without pre-arrangement, men in church fellowship participate audibly and worship is followed by both men and women in church fellowship partaking of the bread and wine. A brief Bible message and announcements of future activities concludes the meeting.
Gospel Meeting (Sunday 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
The gospel we preach is that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). The gospel meeting starts with singing then an invited speaker will read from a variety of Bible texts presenting a message about God’s way of salvation. In this meeting we emphasize the Bible’s call to repent from sin and for every individual to personally accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Prayer and Bible Teaching Meeting (Wednesday 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm - held occasionally on Monday - please enquire)
Christians in church fellowship meet for collective prayer where men in church fellowship participate audibly. Invited speakers present a variety of doctrinal and practical themes designed to teach and encourage Biblical principles and values.
All meetings are conducted in an orderly fashion with reverence for God.
No public collections or appeals for funds are made.
